Support the bankers in underwriting requests for credit extensions for new and existing clients, and in the writing of annual reviews
-Perform detailed financial analysis on companies, including trend and ratio analysis, and interpret the financial information
-Perform credit and personal financial statement analysis on individuals, guarantors, and co-borrowers in order to determine repayment capacity based on cash flow statements, tax returns, and statements
-Prepare monthly and/or quarterly reviews of existing borrowers in order to track compliance with various loan covenants as outlined in the Loan Agreement
-Build a solid understanding of Citi products and services (both within Commercial Business Group and the broader organization)
Requirements:
-College degree in finance, accounting or related field
-Strong analytical skills
-Demonstrated knowledge of intermediate accounting theory and its practical application in the credit underwriting process
