An Associate Business Development Officer will be responsible for developing a sales strategy targeting small to mid size businesses mainly through telemarketing and cold calling. He or she will work closely with a more senior Business Development Officer to develop a network of potential prospects as well as maintain and expand referral sources. May call on prospects independently, but is frequently accompanied by a Business Development Officer to close and finalize deals. This position requires an individual who is self motivated, enjoys prospecting and developing new clients on a continuous basis and has a track record of success within a sales environment. An extensive training program will be offered to all colleagues in this position that will focus on credit training, bank products and sales techniques.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree is preferred
*Minimum three years of experience in a sales environment required.
*Minimum three years of business development experience including prospecting and telemarketing/cold calling required.
