Major news sources have announced that gasoline prices have increased by 8 cents in the past two weeks, 69 cents per gallon since the first of the year, and that now the national average for a gallon of gas at the pumps has reached $2.87!
Records show that demand for gasoline is over twice the rate of this time last year, while inventories are lower!
With the hurricane season now beginning, these storms pose a sincere threat to refineries that are already behind in repairs which could cause a restriction in available gasoline!
The points above partially sum up our situation concerning gasoline here in the United States, and lead many to predict a potential rise to as high as $4.00 a gallon by this Summer.
There's no doubt about it... MPG-CAPSTM are more valuable than ever!
